Energy Transition IS HERE
The future is here and its time to transition your energy profile. Across many sectors improvements in equipment design have been significant in the last twelve months.
In general the movement away from fossil fuels is fully underway. Regulations on reporting climate action are growing constantly, globally. New IFRS reporting standards are coming soon, announced in mid 2023. The threat of doing nothing is becoming larger and more real for most business as customers will need to ask questions. NSP can assist with the verification and potential trading of CO2 credits. We don't capture the credits as part of our funding model but rather assist end users getting the benifits.
Next Step Power offers a practical solution to make transition. We provide the capital and with our Kwhr lease we take the risk of technology adoption. Companies can accelerate past the trial phase of one or two units since the performance risk is with NSP. If the equipment performs less it will use less Kwhrs and your lease payment is lower. You don't have to risk the capital - NSP does. Allow us to help your business make a move and be ahead rather than behind! Your competitors are thinking about it! We work with globall leading OEMs and can provide a leasing package for more that one part of your energy transition.
The Good News is that technology is improving fast and making a move more realistic and competative.
In trucking Volvo and Scania and other OEMS have moved forward with improvement in ranges and 370kw charging is a game changer allowing a 1 hr charge to bring back 80% of capacity for a large truck. In underground mining Epiroc and Sandvik have made major strides with real sales. In open pit mining Komatsu and Caterpillar have advanced with large E trucks and testing and real sales orders. Capabilities of small to mid size trucks are now practical for deliveries and with the right charging plan and infrastructure changing to electric is competative.
Stationary Power with hydrogen can quickly get you electric power if the grid is stuck or slow to improve.
The biggest issues are capex, infrastructure funding and early adoption risk. We beleive moving quickly will become very important in the months ahead.
Next Step Power assists with all of these .
